9 August, 2016 – Tianjin, PRC - Tickets to Tianjin’s largest international sporting event, the 2016 Tianjin Open are now on sale tournament organizers announced on Monday. From today, fans can secure their place by purchasing tickets via the tournament’s sales platform The third edition of the Tianjin Open will take place from 10-16th October at Tianjin Tuanbo International Tennis Center, featuring a star-studded field including WTA Top 10 players, rising stars, and local and marquee international draw cards.

This year various ticketing initiatives have been implemented to ensure all Tianjin tennis fans can watch world-class tennis including;

Tianjin Open Tournament Pass – a discounted pass to watch all 7-days of the tournament ensuring fans will never miss a moment of their favorite players from start to finish.

Student/Concession Tickets –Students, with a valid ID card, and children under 18 will be able to purchase a ticket starting from RMB 30 or a 7-day pass for just RMB298.

General Tickets – Cheaper general tickets and simplified seating plans allowing general ticket holders to choose where they want to sit depending on their seat category. Fans can witness history with tickets to the final starting at just RMB138.

VIP Tickets – Get as close to the action as possible with the tournaments VIP seats or add a VIP plus Hospitality option and watch the Tianjin Open in style with access to the Tianjin Open VIP Marquee

In addition to the return of 2015 Defending Champion and current world No.5 Agnieszka Radwanska, the tournament is also looking forwarding to welcoming back the inaugural Tianjin Open Champion Alison Riske.The 26-year-old American will be playing her third consecutive Tianjin Open and has already reached the final of two WTA events this year (Shenzhen and Nottingham) as well as the semifinals of the WTA Stanford tournament.
